This began with the 02 legal team who cited the opinions and research of foreign experts in their lawsuit at the Constitutional Court. However, the quotation turned out to be a lot that only fabricated fictitious or twisted.

On page 76 of his lawsuit, the Prabowo-Sandi team represented by his attorney quoted Tom’s opinion regarding politics in Indonesia.
In his lawsuit, Prabowo wrote that Tom highlighted the law in Indonesia used by the Joko Widodo government to attack and weaken political opponents and the re-emergence of dual military functions.
“These things for Tom Power are some of the characteristics of the new order authoritarian adopted by the Joko Widodo government,” wrote the couple’s legal counsel, citing Tom’s opinion.
From Tom’s research, the attorney 02 then indirectly concluded that the characteristics of the new order greatly enabled the 01 pair to cheat to win the 2019 presidential election.

The Expert Denies
As reported by CNBC Indonesia, Tom Power explained that the article cited by the Prabowo team was the research and analysis written and published in the BIES 2018 journal article.
“But they use this article in an incomplete context,” he explained on Wednesday (6/12/2019).
He explained the article he wrote at the time did not mention and indicate indications of election fraud that took place last April, because the article was written 6 months before the Indonesian democratic party took place.
